I first met Kiera when she invited me to her graduation in May of 2022, but it wasn’t until November of 2023 that we truly became close. Since then, she has become such a meaningful part of my life. She is also the sister of one of our groomsmen, Nolan Prymo, which makes our connection even more special. Kiera and I share so many fun memories together, and I truly can’t imagine celebrating this day without her by my side.

Makayla has been a part of our lives for as long as we can remember. Christian and Makayla have been friends since the day they were born, and through him, I was lucky enough to meet her. From that moment on, we’ve shared countless memories, laughs, and milestones together. Makayla isn’t just my best friend—she’s family. She’s also our daughter’s godmother and someone we deeply cherish. I had the honour of standing by her side as a bridesmaid on her wedding day, and I am so grateful that she will now be standing by mine.

Avhie and I actually go all the way back to high school, but it wasn’t until October of last year that we became really close and since then, she’s become such an important part of my life. We not only work together, but she’s also my hairstylist (and the only person I trust with my hair), which makes getting ready together that much more special. Outside of work, we’re always finding an excuse to go out, have fun, and spend way too much time on the dance floor. She brings such a fun, positive energy wherever she goes, and I’m so lucky to have her by my side. I couldn’t imagine this chapter without her, and I’m so excited for her to stand with me on my big day.

Nolan isn’t just a longtime friend—he’s been part of my life since day one. Growing up together means he’s seen it all: the questionable decisions, the chaos, and definitely some group chats that should never see the light of day. Through everything, he’s always been steady, genuine, and someone I can count on no matter what. He’s the kind of person who brings people together and makes any moment better just by being there. I’m lucky to call him my best friend, and even luckier to have him standing beside me as my best man.

Zander is Christians brother, which means he’s had a front row seat to our best moments, worst decisions, and everything in between. Somehow he still agreed to be a groomsman. Regardless, He’s the guy who’s always smiling, always joking around, and somehow always looks way more photogenic than the rest of us.
